KEKS Rapid-Winder for Leica M

The new KEKS Rapid-Winder is a recreation of the legendary Leicavit MP, designed for specific Leica film models to make loading film quicker and easier. To retain its originality, the KEKS Rapid-Winder shares the same internal structure and engineering as the original Leicavit, making it just as robust and indestructible.

The Rapid-Winder is the first product in our "Reimagined series" — where we bring some of the most iconic and sought-after film camera accessories back to life in retro form. We took an original Leicavit and stripped it down to fully understand how it works, then teamed up with skilled engineers to bring this product back to life. To achieve the same smooth winding feel, the Rapid-Winder consists of many precisely fitted parts, made mostly of steel and brass, with a chain-driven winding mechanism providing the same durability and quality as the original.

Using a spring-loaded trigger on the bottom plate, the Rapid-Winder makes it easier to advance film with a single-stroke mechanism — ideal for fast-moving, spontaneous shooting.

Compatibility:
Designed for the Leica M1, M2, M3, MP (original), and M4-2. An extra adapter is required for the Leica M3. This product does not work with the M3 double-stroke.

Crafted in brass and metal, available in matching Satin Silver and Piano Black.
